There are thousands and thousands of people trying to make money online every single day of the week and the total number continues to explode. People see the lure of commission checks and they want a piece of the multi billion dollar action but an extremely high percentage of people fail and a small minority are actually able to make a living online. This article is not going to tell you what new product you need to buy or the latest secret million dollar secret but the point of this article to show you why people fail time after time so you will know what not to do.
I have seen it time and time again where some new guy or gal is whining on some forum that after a week they are not making any money or they are not getting any traffic to their websites. So you ask a few simple questions and it turns out this person has created one site and has a total of three articles pointing towards their product. This is not 1992 where there are only a handful of people online trying to make a buck but thousands upon thousands of people just like you who are competing for the same dollar. Making money online is not a sprint but a marathon and the sooner you realize this the better off you will be.
Every single week there is a new product that is released by some guru who promises to show you a simple program that does all of the work and all that you need to do is sit back and collect the check. Of course after you being doing this for a while you will realize that gurus are great in promise and terrible in follow through. The people these so called experts are aiming at are new people who want to make money online and do not want to work for it. The person who is making money off of the latest miracle product is the guy who is selling it and not the sucker who bought it. Save your money and go after the tools that have a track record in helping people make money online but you still need to put in the work, there is no such thing as the magic red button when it comes to affiliate marketing.
It amazes me how many people spend their days online seeking for that magic clue or that one thing that is going to send their websites to the top of Google and make millions of dollars overnight yet they are not doing a thing. Do not get me wrong learning the proper steps in affiliate marketing is hugely important but what is more essential is action. When they were reading that forum post I was writing an article, when they were reading the same damn thing over and over again I created another website. It all comes down to action and action is what separates the people who make money online and those who don’t.
If you want to make money online you need to avoid everything that sparkles, put in the work and most importantly make sure that you are constantly moving towards your goal of making money online by taking action. Stand by the sidelines all you want and watch the parade go by or take the initiative and jump into the convertible carrying the beauty queen. In the end it is up to you and how badly you want it.
